On Saturday, May 7, 2011, the Friends of Pinchot State Park, in partnership with the Keystone Trails Association, conducted a trailcare workday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. There were 21 participants contributing over 125 work hours. Beaver Creek Trail: Approximately 150 feet of muddy trail was rebuilt using rocks from the area and limestone and trailmix. Eighty-four feet of boardwalk was constructed across two chronically muddy sections of the trail. Quaker Race Trail: The entire Quaker Race Trail (1.7 miles) was blazed in both directions. Various trails were pruned and cleaned and downed trees were removed.
