Volunteer Opportunities:

• Trail Stewardship: Monitor and/or maintain trail conditions.
• Habitat Enhancement: Remove invasive plants, restoration of old fields and cedar meadows, bluebird trail monitoring, maintain or build nestboxes, bat box monitoring.
• Campground Assistance: Campground hosting, improvement of facilities, develop and/or assist with camper programs.
• Education and Recreation: Host nature center, create displays for use in nature center, assist with programs and special events, develop educational programs, lead hikes.
• Miscellaneous: Administrative duties, grant writing, public relations, fundraising.

You do not have to be a member of the Friends in order to be a volunteer. However, by becoming a member of FOPSP, you will be better informed and will become an integral part of park operations.
